Abstract
According to the recent report about sexual differences regarding facial structures of Korean youths, the male forehead has a more supraorbital bossing, and above this there is often a flat before the convex curvature of the upper of forehead begins. Whereas, the supraorbital bossing is considerably less, frequently nearly non-existent, and above this there is usually less flatness and more of a continuous mild curvature in the female.

The mild curvature of forehead shows one of the characteristic features of feminization and is apparently accipted as an aesthetical enhancemen in Korean yourths. For no other reason than this, patients who desire to have an operation for forehead augmentation are gradually on the increase.

We have performed forty cases of forehead augmentation for aesthetical purpose for the last five years. In addition, we had experience in removing the silicone implant on the forehead of two patients who were operated by other physicians because of tissue reaction. Thirty-three of forty cases used of lipoinjection, six cases were grafted with dermofat from subgluteal area and one was interposed with bothe temporoparietal fascial flaps.

The lipoinjection was successful to cover irregularity of partial augmentation on the forehead but needed repeated procedures 2 or 3 times. The free dermofat graft is an excellent way for general augmentation of forehead. The both temporoparietal fascial flaps were enough only in cases for minor augmentation.
